GOOD Based on 13 reviews Posted on Marko MarkovichVerified Great POV from Alpha founder!! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this financial bank thriller that occurred in my adopted home town. Normally not easy to finish books I start due in part to my extreme dyslexia (finished in two sittings). The POV from the Alpha founder made it happen!Posted on SardarVerified Bank Holiday An amazing book on the topic. Author has a deep insight about the finial instituted and He masterfully explains reasons for rise and fall of a bank That could hav been the next big thing!! in USA banking industry. Must read !Posted on NoNameVerified Banking Corruption, Up Close Could have used a much stronger editorial and proofreading hand. But it's fast paced and exposes both the incompetence and fear required to pull off these giant bank frauds. 3.5 starsPosted on Ann DuplessisVerified Best Book this year! What a gripping account of the rise and fall of a dynasty! I could not put this book down! Bravo to the author and a must read!!Posted on Marc L.Verified Couldn't put it down... Bank Holiday: The Cost of Arrogance is an engrossing read from start to finish. I came home from a luncheon to find the book waiting for me and finished it in one sitting. Familiarity with the story and its outcome did nothing to lessen its impact; Anderson’s writing kept me turning the pages from start to finish. David Anderson does a remarkable job bringing to life the people, events, and culture surrounding the fall of First NBC Bank. His writing balances detail with momentum, keeping the narrative sharp, clear, and highly readable. What could have been dry financial history is instead an engrossing, personal, and cautionary tale. For those interested in banking, leadership, or the human cost of arrogance, this is a book that informs, entertains, and resonates. Congratulations to David on an impressive debut.
